Maple and GREY POUPON-Glazed Brussel Sprouts
You’ll never guess the chef’s secret was Grey Poupon when you taste
each savory bite of this classic wintry side.
What you need:
2 Tbsp. butter
2 lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup GREY POUPON Hearty Spicy Brown Mustard
1/4 cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
MELT butter in large skillet on
medium-high heat. Add sprouts; cook and stir 5 min. or until lightly browned.
STIR in remaining ingredients.Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium; cover. Cook 8 min. or until sprouts are tender and sauce has reduced to a thick glaze, removing lid after 5 min.
PREPARING BRUSSELS SPROUTS:
Remove any loose or yellowing leaves from stem of each sprout. Trim and discard ends of stems. Rinse sprouts, then drain. Cook as desired.
